Dr. Ben Carson is Coming to New Zealand -

Dr. Ben Carson, Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital is visiting New Zealand in March 2012. Dr. Carson who holds over 60 honorary doctorate degrees and has hundreds of awards was selected by the Library of Congress in 2001 as one of 89 “Living Legends”. An outspoken Christian, he attributes his amazing successes to hard work and God. Dr. Carson always prays before every surgery and gives thanks to God for the successful outcome.

Dr. Carson has a fascinating and inspiring testimony. As a child he dreamed of becoming a physician but he grew up in a single parent home in dire poverty; he had poor grades, a horrible temper, and low self-esteem but his mother, with only a third-grade education, challenged her sons to strive for excellence and young Ben persevered. Today Ben has far surpassed even his wildest dreams an is proof of what you can achieve if you believe.

Do you have a dream? The Bible tells us in Habakkuk 2:3: For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry”.
