Why does it seem so hard to get the message out? If only those who were saved in the day of Christ would have gone back to their homelands and shared the good news with two others who came to the Lord, and then those new in Christ would have shared the good news with two others, etc., the whole world would know Jesus today.

It is hard enough for Christians working in the business world with all the political correctness police around. We surely don't want to offend anyone with our witness of love and peace at work or, sometimes, even in the neighborhood. Then, at church, why is it that we sometimes spend our energy fighting for leadership within the body instead of doing the Lord's work out in the community?

Each of us must commit ourselves to walking in the power of the Holy Spirit, being gentle as doves and as wise as owls. We must stand firm against the negative forces that desire to divide and divert us from the ministry that God has prepared for us to do. We must share the good news with all we meet, in word and action.

Jesus will have the final victory if we call on his name and love others as he loves us.

Prayer: Dear God, help me to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Give me the messages that you want me to speak. Nudge me through your Holy Spirit to be available and to share your love with others at the right times and in the right places. Amen.
