God has secrets that he'd like to share with us.

Have you ever had an experience where you just got a brand new car, or house, or new furniture, and the first thing you want to do is share your excitement with your best friends or family? You want to share your news with the closest people to you because it's a wonderful thing!

For instance, you may have come up with a wonderful cake recipe. I always talk about sweet stuff because I love it. Or you may have crafted something - a new bookshelf or a lovely party invitation. You want to share it, don't you? It's exciting.

God has created this entire universe, he created all of us, and he created the mysteries of this world. He's created all of these wondrous things and he wants to share them with us. God loves us with a divine passion that just will not quit.

So, why would we not call upon him in prayer? We can share our lives with him daily, several times a day, all day long. God is always near, but to keep our relationship with him close, we must call upon him. His promise is, "I will answer you. I will show you great and mighty things that you do not know."

Prayer: Dear Lord, I know you are near and listen to me as I pray. I want to share with you the exciting moments of my day, as well as the times I feel distress. Thank you for being ever-present in my life. You are the brightest Light, radiating love and hope into my heart and soul. Amen.

Devotion: What is it that you most often share with God? Your accomplishments? Your hopes? Your fears? Your gratefulness? Your love?
